Daher unveils Kodiak 900 – the newest version of legendary Kodiak 100
Daher showed the newest Kodiak 900 at AirVenture Oshkosh. The fast turboprop aircraft is a new edition to Daher’s model range which also includes TBM 910 and TBM 960. Kodiak 900 is the heir to legendary Kodiak 100 – universal turboprop aircraft qualified as STOL (short takeoff and landing). Kodiak 900 surpasses its predecessor in many ways. For example, it has fuselage more than a meter longer; its speed increased up to 210 knots and maximum range – up to 2090 km. Besides fuel consumption reduced to 9%.
Kodiak 900’s cabin can be composed in different ways: from the club layout to placing all the chairs facing one direction. Every seat reclines or can be easily removed by one man if necessary. This is the way Kodiak 900 becomes a cargo plane.
Deliveries of Kodiak 900 to US based clients will start in 2023.
